The metal air battery comprises an anode and a cathode assembly, the cathode assembly comprises a cathode current collector surrounding the anode and carbon fibers fixed to the cathode current collector, the carbon fibers are located on the face, facing the anode, of the cathode current collector, the carbon fibers do not make contact with the anode, and the cathode current collector is connected with the anode through a conductor.
