The invention relates to a sliding rail sleeve airtightness detection device which comprises a clamping assembly, a driving assembly, a supporting assembly, an air supply assembly and a control system. The clamping assembly is used for clamping a sliding rail sleeve flange plate, the driving assembly is used for providing driving force for clamping and loosening of the clamping assembly, the supporting assembly is used for supporting the airtightness detection device, the air supply assembly is used for providing compressed air for the driving assembly and the airtightness testing process, and the control system is used for controlling signal starting and stopping of the driving assembly and the air supply assembly. The invention further relates to an airtightness detection method of the sliding rail sleeve. The sliding rail sleeve airtightness detection device and the airtightness detection method aim at solving the problems of low assembly efficiency and low detection efficiency in sleeve airtightness detection.
