The invention discloses a double-motor coaxial type two-gear electric drive axle which comprises a drive motor A, a drive motor B, a two-gear planetary reduction mechanism and a planetary row differential mechanism. An output shaft of the drive motor A is connected with one input end of the planetary row differential mechanism through a planetary row with a fixed speed ratio. An output shaft of the driving motor B is connected with the input end of the two-gear planetary speed reducing mechanism, the output end of the two-gear planetary speed reducing mechanism is connected with the other input end of the planetary row differential mechanism, the planetary row differential mechanism comprises two output ends, the two output ends are correspondingly connected with an output half shaft, the two output half shafts are oppositely arranged, and the axes of the two output half shafts are located on the same straight line; output shafts of the two driving motors A and B are both of hollow shaft structures, and the free ends of the two output half shafts correspondingly penetrate through the hollow shafts of the driving motors to be connected to the planet row differential mechanism. The double-motor coaxial type stepless speed change mechanism can achieve stepless speed change, and is compact in structure and convenient to install and arrange.
