The forklift drive axle comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 0.3 to 0.4 percent of C, 0.15 to 0.35 percent of Si, 0.5 to 0.8 percent of Mn, 0.15 to 0.25 percent of Cr, 0.15 to 0.25 percent of Cu, 0.1 to 0.2 percent of Ni, less than or equal to 0.035 percent of S, less than or equal to 0.035 percent of P and the balance of Fe. Movement of molten steel in a liquid phase cavity is strengthened through electromagnetic stirring treatment, so that the convection, heat transfer and mass transfer processes of the molten steel are strengthened, the solidification process of a casting blank is controlled, the equiaxed crystal rate of the casting blank is increased, the casting blank with a good solidification structure is obtained, and the performance of a finished product is improved. The electromagnetic stirring is selected in the secondary metallurgical treatment stage of the molten metal, so that the secondary metallurgical effect of the tundish on the molten metal is better.
