The invention discloses an abrupt slope slow descent system with an electromagnetic brake, an electric vehicle and an abrupt slope slow descent method. The system comprises an accelerator, a controller, a driving motor, the electromagnetic brake, a power source and an abrupt slope slow descent switch. And the accelerator is connected with the controller. The power supply is respectively connected with the controller and the electromagnetic brake; and the abrupt slope slow descending switch is arranged between the power supply and the electromagnetic brake. The controller is connected with the driving motor and the electromagnetic brake, and the driving motor is connected with the electromagnetic brake. The controller is provided with a reversing signal port, the power source is further connected with the reversing signal port, and the reversing signal port is used for sending a negative electric signal to the controller. The abrupt slope slow descent switch is used for controlling the power source to supply power to the reversing signal port and the electromagnetic brake port. During downhill, the abrupt slope slow descent switch is closed, the electromagnetic brake is opened, and the vehicle is switched to a reverse gear. Due to gravity, wheel rotation power generation and upward braking force generated by reverse rotation of the driving motor, the vehicle slowly descends, vehicle parts are prevented from being damaged due to sudden stop, and the safety of the vehicle is also improved.
