The steel wire rope flaw detection sensor comprises an exciter and a magnetic gathering device, and the exciter is used for magnetizing an elevator steel wire rope in the axial direction; the magnetic gathering device comprises two parallel and opposite magnetic gathering rings, the inner diameter of each magnetic gathering ring is larger than the diameter of an elevator steel wire rope, each magnetic gathering ring is formed by splicing a plurality of arc-shaped magnetic gathering plates in the circumferential direction, the magnetic gathering plates are made of soft magnetic materials, a plurality of Hall elements are evenly distributed between the two magnetic gathering rings in the circumferential direction of the magnetic gathering rings, and the two ends of each Hall element are connected with the two magnetic gathering rings respectively. The magnetic gathering device gathers and guides the surface leakage magnetic field of the elevator steel wire rope to pass through the Hall element, so that the detection sensitivity is improved, and the magnetic gathering device not only can enlarge the detection range of the Hall element in the circumferential direction and reduce the use amount of the Hall element, but also can homogenize the surface leakage magnetic field, eliminate the inter-strand leakage magnetic field and prevent the inter-strand leakage magnetic field from interfering the detection; therefore, the detection has a higher signal-to-noise ratio, and the detection accuracy is higher.
