Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of railway vehicles, and in particular relates to a railway vehicle and a sound insulation cover thereof. The sound insulation cover comprises a sound insulation cover body and a sound insulation and heat insulation assembly. The sound insulation cover body comprises a top plate, an apron board fixedly connected with the periphery of the top plate and reinforcing ribs fixedly connected with the bottom face of the top plate; a plurality of through holes are formed in the top plate; the reinforcing ribs and the apron board are positioned on the same side surface of the top plate; the sound insulation and heat insulation assembly is fixedly installed in a groove defined by the top plate and the apron board, and the thickness of the sound insulation and heat insulation assembly is the same as the depth of the groove. The sound insulation cover can improve the sound insulation and heat insulation effects of the pantograph area of the roof, reduce noise pollution in the vehicle and improve the riding comfort of passengers.
