The embodiment of the invention provides a rail, a rail hoisting structure and a suspension type rail traffic system. The rail comprises a plurality of sub-rails connected end to end, a cavity used for containing a walking device is formed in each sub-rail, each sub-rail comprises a bearing surface used for bearing the walking device, and an opening is formed in each bearing surface in the extending direction of the rail; a connecting structure is arranged on the bearing surface on at least one side of the opening, the connecting structure comprises a first matching part arranged at the firstend of the bearing surface and a second matching part arranged at the second end of the bearing surface, wherein the shape of the first matching part and the shape of the second matching part are complementary; and the sub-rail is lapped on the second matching part of another sub-rail adjacent to the sub-rail through the first matching part. The width of the gap between every two adjacent sub-rails can be reduced by adjusting the lap joint length, so that the chattering probability of the walking wheels is reduced, and the running stability of the railway vehicle is improved.
