The invention discloses an adjusting mechanism, and particularly relates to an automobile headrest height adjusting mechanism which comprises a seat backrest and a seat headrest. By pressing a pressing plate in the adjusting device, a connecting pipe is not blocked any more along with upward movement of a first piston, hydraulic oil in a micro oil tank flows into the space between the first pistonand a hollow cylinder along the connecting pipe, and when the pressing plate is loosened, the first piston restores to the original position along with downward movement of the pressing plate to block the connecting pipe again; meanwhile, hydraulic oil flows into the space between a second piston and the first piston along an oil conveying pipe, thus the seat headrest moves upwards, when the seatheadrest needs to be adjusted downwards, only the pressing plate is pressed, then the seat headrest is pressed downwards, the hydraulic oil is squeezed back into the micro oil tank, and therefore theheight of the headrest is adjusted up and down in a more labor-saving mode; the height is more convenient to adjust, and the problems that an existing automobile headrest height adjusting mechanism is troublesome in adjustment and more labor-consuming and a driver cannot adjust the height of a headrest conveniently are solved.
