The invention discloses a maglev elevator driven by a linear synchronous motor. The maglev elevator comprises an elevator shaft, a car and the linear synchronous motor, wherein the front shaft wall ofthe elevator shaft is provided with an elevator door, a pair of H-shaped tracks that are parallel to each other and arranged at intervals are fixed on the rear shaft wall of the elevator shaft, the linear synchronous motor comprises a long motor stator winding and a motor mover arranged opposite to the long motor stator winding, the long motor stator winding is fixed on the rear shaft wall and islocated between the pair of H-shaped tracks, the motor mover is fixed on the panel of the car facing the rear shaft wall, the long motor stator winding is connected to a traction control system, themotor mover interacts with the energized long motor stator winding, the upper part of the car is installed with a first electromagnet, the lower part of the car is installed with a second electromagnet, the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet are respectively connected to a maglev controller, and the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet respectively generate opposite attractive forces with the H-shaped tracks. The maglev elevator has the advantages of high running speed, low noise and low maintenance workload.
