The invention discloses a pantograph upper arm assembly. The pantograph upper arm assembly comprises a pantograph upper arm, a balance rod, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod and a pantograph head rotating shaft, the pantograph upper arm comprises an upper cross pipe, an upper housing, a lower housing, a longitudinal strut, a first rotating shaft mounting seat, a second rotating shaftmounting seat, a sealing cover and a mounting plate; the upper cross pipe is of a circular pipe structure and is divided into two sections which are symmetrically welded to the left side and the right side of the upper cover shell, and the lower cover shell and the upper cover shell are connected through a fastener to form a thin-wall sealed box structure. The upper housing, the longitudinal strut, the first connecting rod, the second connecting rod and the balance rod form a pantograph upper four-connecting-rod hinge mechanism, and the first connecting rod, the second connecting rod, the balance rod, the bearing and the like are all arranged in the pantograph upper arm. The balance rod deformation or fracture failure rate caused by foreign matter striking can be reduced, the windward resistance of the upper arm is reduced, and the aerodynamic characteristics of the pantograph upper arm component are improved.
