The invention discloses a floating body for a panel of a water floating type photovoltaic module, and relates to the technical field of solar photovoltaic power generation. The floating body comprisesa floating body, an inclination control device and a photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic module is fixed on the upper surface of the floating body. The inclination control device is arranged in thefloating body. The inclination control device comprises a micro motor. The micro motor is in transmission connection with a rotating rod. The rotating rod is connected with a counterweight ball. A cavity is formed in the floating body. A sliding groove channel is formed in the bottom of the cavity. Under the action of the micro motor and the rotating rod, the counterweight ball slides in the sliding groove channel. Buoyancy is provided for the photovoltaic module through the floating body, and the inclination control device adjusts the position of the counterweight ball to control the orientation of a panel of the photovoltaic module on the floating body. Therefore, the photovoltaic module panel can follow the position change of the sun synchronously and face the sun all the time.
