The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a bicycle basket. The bicycle basket comprises a basket body with an upward opening, a bottom end fixing piece and side face fixing pieces. The basketbody is composed of metal sheets which intersect vertically and horizontally, the metal sheets form a grid, the width of each metal sheet is 0.3*5cm, and the distance between the metal sheets is 1.5cm. Protrusions are distributed on one faces of the metal sheets. A plurality of parallel metal slender rods are arranged on the periphery of the basket body and used for shaping the metal sheets. Thebicycle basket is novel in shape, high in bearing capacity, firm in overall structure, not prone to falling of objects, simple in structure and low in manufacturing cost.
