The invention discloses a preformed terminal anchoring protection wire clip for the overhead contact system of an electric railway. Secondary protection is realized on the basis of a contact line or carrier cable type terminal anchoring wire clip. The preformed terminal anchoring protection wire clip comprises three parts, a preformed armor rod, a wedged casing assembly and a connecting piece, wherein the preformed armor rod comprises a plurality of preformed metal wires in a spiral pipe shape; the wedged casing assembly comprises a wedge block and an outer casing; the connecting piece can be a set of special-shaped bolts or a double-lug-type yoke plate or a U-shaped bolt assembly. When the wire clip is used, firstly, the wedge block of the wedged casing assembly is fixed to a cable and wound with the preformed armour rod, the preformed armor rod extends towards the cable, and the cable is tightly held; then the outer casing of the wedged casing assembly is fixedly mounted on the outer layer of the preformed armor rod and located at the wedge block; finally, the preformed terminal anchoring protection wire clip is connected to a fixing point of an original terminal anchoring wire clip through the connecting piece. The preformed terminal anchoring protection wire clip is simple and convenient to mount, good in consistency and high in strength, can offer secondary protection on the situation that a conical sleeve type terminal anchoring wire clip fails and can help cooling of the cable.
