The invention provides a technique which enlarges a holding force for an elongated component in a holding member for the elongated component. In the holding member (10), a mounting part (22) is mounted on a mounting component. A holding part (20) is arranged on the mounting part (22) and holds the elongated component. The holding part (20) is provided with the components of: a first wall part (24a) and a second wall part (24b); a semi-cylindrical surface which is formed between the first wall part (24a) and the second wall part (24b) and accommodates the elongated component; and projection parts which project from the semi-cylindrical surface at the side of the first wall part (24a) and the semi-cylindrical surface at the side of the second wall part. The axial length of each projection is shorter than the axial length of the semi-cylindrical surface. Furthermore the projections are formed at positions which are higher than the central axis of the elongated component that is held in a vertical direction.
