The invention provides a single pile foundation of a rear upright column of a boarding bridge. The single pile foundation is used for supporting a rotating platform of the boarding bridge; the rotating platform is connected with slewing bearings and the rear upright column by bottom flanges; the rear upright column is connected with an adjustment column by a flange; and after a position of the adjustment column is determined and the adjustment column is adjusted horizontally, the adjustment column is connected with a single pile into a whole through grouting processing. The invention further discloses a construction method of the single pile foundation of the rear upright column of the boarding bridge. Compared with the conventional multi-pile foundation, the single pile foundation has the advantages that a mounting process is simple, the engineering cost is reduced, and no technical risk of bolt breaking (brittle failure) exists.
