The invention discloses an automobile air intake system. The automobile air intake system comprises an air intake pipeline, an air filter, a throttle valve body or carburetor and a resonant cavity, wherein the air filter is communicated with the air intake pipeline, and the throttle valve body or carburetor is communicated with the air filter through the resonant cavity. According to the automobile air intake system, by additionally arranging the resonant cavity of a cavity structure in the rear end of the air filter, air can be stored when at a high flow speed and a large flow rate and released when at a low flow speed and a small flow rate, so that a balancing effect is achieved, the working stability of a complete automobile is improved, and accordingly the comfort of the complete automobile is improved; the problem that in an existing structure, air flows into a carburetor or throttle valve body directly and consequently air intake resistance is large or noise is high is avoided.
