The invention provides a bicycle brake system comprising a brake lever, a first brake cable, a second brake cable and a brake. One end of the brake is fixedly connected with the brake lever while the other end is fixedly connected with the brake; one end of the second brake cable is fixedly connected with the brake gripper while the other end is fixedly connected with the brake. The bicycle braking system has the advantages that the bicycle can be ride after one brake cable is broken, and the bicycle braking system is high in durability and good in safety.
