This paper studies the validity of integrated signal control strategy on urban expressway and compares its efficiency with other three control strategies. Three traffic simulation models about ramp networks have been built in VISSIM 4.3 in order to test the efficiencies of those signal control strategies under different traffic conditions. Moreover, 6 different traffic flow states were set in each model and the comprehensive evaluation of each strategy is proposed.
