Photometric representation is used to document the response of the anthropometric test dummies and the seat structures subjected to dynamic test environment. the pre-dominant way of obtaining the dynamic variables during a crash test is by means of transducers attaches to various points of interest on the dummy as well as the seat structure. However as the crash environment encompasses a wider range of impulse loads, duration forms and directions, optical procedures need to be used to visually monitor motion of the test subjects. The most commonly faced problem in target tracking is that, thousands of video frame images are to be analyzed frame-by-frame manually. This procedure is time consuming and the results contain much noise and distortion. A simple automated tracking of targets based on pixel value search technique was developed. This will expedite the process of data extraction and also filter out some of the noise associated with manual tracking.
