Rear three point hitches designed in accordance to ISO 730 are universally accepted as the de facto method for attached implements. Installing a rear implement requires precise vertical, horizontal, and angular alignment of the three point hitch draft arms and implement attachment structure for effective installation. Auxiliary rockshaft controls are proven technology with several applications in production. These electrical or mechanical systems adjust the angle of the rockshaft from an auxiliary location, enabling remote raising or lowering of the three point hitch. Precise implement alignment often requires multiple trips to the operator seat or an additional operator due to the difficulty and time required to accurately position the tractor with respect to the implement. Quick attach and auto hitch systems enhance the user experience but have not addressed tractor positioning relative to the implement. During the attachment process, the operator may have to mount and dismount the operator station several times to modify fore and aft tractor positioning in order to obtain hitch-implement alignment. Older attachments, nonstandard attachments, and attachments that do not sit level on the ground lead to challenges in utilizing quick attach and auto hitch systems. There is a need for greater operator efficiency and enhanced safety when installing implements and other trailing attachments. A system is needed to make implement installation easier, thus providing the operator with greater system dexterity resulting in only one trip off the tractor. Auxiliary three point hitch adjustment can be conceptually extended through the addition of ground positioning controls at the rear of the tractor. This allows the operator to actuate controls to move the tractor forward or reverse. When coupled with auxiliary hitch height controls, this system addresses many of the issues encountered during the attachment and alignment of implements.
