This article describes a way to estimate parameter for a dynamic model of lithium-ion cells for use in automotive applications. The dynamic model is a phenomenologicalmodel based on an equivalent electric circuit with varying parameters. The parameter estimation is done in a two step process. The first step finds the global optimum of a general transfer function and the second step calculates the RC circuit parameter of the general transfer function. This method guarantees an unique solution even for unsupervised computation.
