The decomposition and restructuring algorithm of wavelet packet analysis (WPA) is introduced. The initial data collected by sensor group are denoised by WPA. The viewpoint about data information identification based on 'energy-information' is shown. An algorithm of using WPA extracting data feature is presented. A new method of flight control system fault diagnosis is given. Simulation results shows that three kinds of common faults of flight control system can be distinguished by using this method.
