The direct-current brushless motors with permanent magnets have numerous advantages and are frequently used in unconventional high and medium-power drivers. A physical model of the motor (power 200 W, turning velocity 2400 rev/min) was presented. The three-phase winding and neodyme magnet were placed on the stator and the rotor of the motor, respectively. Optical position sensors were used to determine position of the rotor toward the stator. The relationship between the torque of motor and current flowing through bands of winding was established. The measurements of phase and line roration voltage were carried out. The motor was recommended for use in battery-driven cars including wheelchairs supplied with 24-V current.
