DUCATI is a name that makes us to think about races. Every DUCATI bike has a sport soul. For this reason also this sport touring bike must be firstly a sport bike, both for engine and braking power. So the ABS system must have better braking performances than other existing ABS systems. The target is to reach the braking efficiency of the hypersport bikes ridden by a very good rider. Just like every development of component in DUCATI, also the ABS system was subject to a long and detailed work, made by theoretical study and instrumental test on the road and into circuits. After several months, thousand of kilometers and, above all, several thousand of braking over every kind of adhesion coefficient they are sure to have reached the target. Now we have a bike that brakes as well as a superbike without the risk of wheel lock.
