Electronic fuel injection is explained with the aid of block diagrams of the system and of a suitable test configuration using the LTX 77 automatic testing system, with which a two-thirds reduction in test time is claimed. The function of a pressure-generating interface and the simulation of accelerator action by a source of variable voltage are discussed. The system can include up to four test stations and eight heads assigned to different circuits, with high-frequency, laser adjustment and digital extension units.
