The paper briefly summarizes previous work to familiarize the reader with the E- and H-Field sensors, then continues with an evaluation of the ideal characteristics of the sensors in a TEM cell. Then the performance of the sensors in nonideal EM field measurement conditions is presented. The use of the sensors under non-ideal conditions is described. Data taken included measurements with the sensor in the presence of perturbing objects, and measurements while the sensors were elevated above the ground plane. The purpose of these measurements was to slow the validity of field measurements under non-ideal conditions.
