This combined USAF and USN standardization program is now nearing the production phase. Air Data Computers from the SCADC core hardware set have already been configured, developed and tested for over thirty aircraft variants. Under management from Wreight Patterson AFB, and from Naval Air Systems Command, Marconi Avionics are completing development, qualification, operational approval, and productionisation of the SCADC hardware. The paper outlines the progress of the Merconi Avionics hardware program, and emphasises the production readiness of the SCADC.
