An approach to the study of emergency and failed aircraft objects is considered based on deformation data of the full-scale experiment. The problem of identifying stiffness of the fuselage compartment stringers working in tension–compression under the action of an external load is solved according to the Yu.G. Odinokov model. When minimizing the quality functional, the iterative refinement is applied using sensitivity matrices to find the stiffness of compartment stringers. Numerical results are obtained showing the suitability of the approach for diagnosing the condition of the structure.
