Abstract A technique for the computer-aided aircraft appearance formation is presented; the technique is based on the use of potentialities of the present-day systems and means of design work automation. In the technique being suggested, a process of the aircraft appearance formation is accomplished based on the reconfiguration of a parametric model of the base configuration.
