The hybrid PWM technology of synchronous SPWM modulation, asynchronous SPWM modulation and SHEPWM modulation is adopted in the traction transmission system of subway vehicles. Based on FPGA platform, a waveform generator with hybrid pulse width modulation technology is designed, which can load the period value arbitrarily and realize the switching of different modulation modes. The solution of switching Angle in specific harmonic elimination PWM method and the CORDIC algorithm used in synchronous and asynchronous modulation are analyzed emphatically.
