Abstract This book is dedicated to the overview of ground-based air radio navigation aids. These aids are part of radio navigation systems and operate together with onboard equipment. Principles of construction, functioning, structural, and circuit design for ground and onboard equipment are very different. However, it is the interoperability of onboard and ground equipment of radio navigation systems that allows to solve a wide range of tasks required for completing all stages of aircraft’s flight with the necessary level of flight security.
