Research on UAV Threat to Air Defense Troops and Improvement of Anti-UAV Capability

UAV is becoming an important air threat to air defense forces and it has the potential to overturn the rules of air defense operations. The paper analyses main types of UAVs and the operational modes, and it research the capability requirements of anti-UAVs for air defense forces. This paper puts forward countermeasures from four aspect as follow actively renew ideas concepts, comprehensively improve the combat capability of the system, build an anti-UAV reconnaissance and early warning system, developing anti-UAV network and electric killing equipment. The research has reference value for air defense troops to improve their anti-UAV ability.
