The problem of the trajectory tracking for spacecraft safe approach considering input constraint is studied in this thesis. Firstly, the close-range approach model of spacecraft is established on target body coordinate system, and the saturation function is approximated by introducing a smooth function to cope with input saturation. Secondly, an improved sliding mode is presented, and further an adaptive finite-time anti-saturation tracking control strategy is provided considering input constraint and no prior information of upper bound of disturbance. Finally, theoretical analysis is adopted to show the performance of finite-time convergent of sliding mode manifold and system states. Also, the simulation is presented to validate the provided tracking control strategy.
