With the development of fully automatic Driving, the information interaction mode of the automobile human-computer interface is undergoing revolutionary changes. From a design point of view, the car has slowly developed into a design object with a complex human-computer interaction system [1]. The driver’s judgment on the cause of the vehicle failure mainly depends on the failure alarm information interface. Due to the limitations of the warning information display space (mainly the instrument panel) and the cognitive load of the occupants (mainly referring to the driver), in the context of increasingly complex and diverse body warning information, it is necessary to accurately determine the cause of the failure and the potential risk of the failure. This can easily have a negative impact on the psychological state of drivers and passengers, thereby affecting driving safety. This study combines AR-HUD to redesign the human-machine failure alarm interface of existing vehicles. Reduce the cognitive load of passengers, improve the cognitive efficiency of passengers, and enhance the trust between people and vehicles.
