This study is intended to account for the life cycle carbon emissions of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles produced in China. The research objects include passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle (including buses, light-duty trucks and heavy-duty trucks), both of which can be divided according to the fuel type into gasoline or diesel vehicle, non off-vehicle chargeable hybrid electric vehicle (NOVC HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), battery electric vehicle (NEV), natural gas vehicle (NGV) and fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV).
