The primary objectives of the ATS-B mission (now designated ATS-I) have been met. These objectives were to: 1. Inject the spin-stabilized ATS-B spacecraft into synchronous orbit and place it on station. 2. Operate the spacecraft for the first 30 days or longer. 3. To operate and obtain useful data from a number of application, technology, and scientific experiments carried on the spacecraft.
