    Impinging Jet Flow Controller


    The patent application describes a system for flow control for use with a vertical propulsion aircraft to reduce suckdown effects causing instability in takeoff and landing maneuvers. Flow control is effected by the use of a thin, two-dimensional grid array of either diamond shapes or parallel ribs.
