The analysis and design studies conducted on the fluorine/hydrogen engine system of the Advanced Maneuvering Propulsion System (AMPS) are presented. The work included the engine system, thrust chamber assemblies, turbopump assemblies, and controls. Design requirements, design tradeoffs, operating characteristics, and layout drawings are shown for the major components and system. (Author)
