Construction, functioning, and specific characteristics of lithergol propulsive systems - rockets and air breathing engines - in missiles are reviewed. It is shown that for cruise missiles a variety of combination propulsive engines are possible. Considering aspects such as performance, simplicity, controllability, and combination possibilities, it is concluded that none of these aspects will pose insurmountable problems.
