Ground-based flight simulators that use motion, angular and/or linear displacement to induce certain flight illusions would be an appropriate innovative segment in flight training. The man-in-the-loop trainer modifies existing passive exposure practices in demonstrators and should contribute to a more efficient and cost-effective way of training certain instrument-flight skills.
