The volume presents the findings of one of a study of methods of improving express bus service in the Washington metropolitan area is preparatory to a planned demonstration of a coordinated two-way express transit service for center city and suburban employees. The possible use of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad freight line for parts of the route of this express service is explored. (Author)
