This report was initiated to compare the results of the University of Washington Aeronautical Laboratory wind tunnel tests on the lateral stability of a Barrage balloon and similar class 'C' data with tunnel test data of a BJ+3 (84,000 cu ft) balloon and the Family 2D-6 (200,000 cu ft) balloon. The latter two balloon configurations were tested in the NASA/Langley twelve-foot and the U.S. Navy David Taylor eight-foot by ten-foot wind tunnels respectively. Test Results were reported in G. T. Schjeldahl reports SER 0076 and SER 0093.
