Motion camouflage was first observed as a stealth strategy in nature and is now applied in pursuit problems. This article presents the capturability of motion camouflage guidance law, which is a proportion-like navigation law. First, the influence of the upper bound of the heading angle, line of sight rate, and command acceleration on the capturability is conducted to support the subsequent inferences. Then, the relative rotational motion and closing speed are represented in one parameter to ease the derivation process. By analyzing this parameter and the boundary conditions, an appropriate range of navigation gain of motion camouflage guidance law against the maneuvering target is given to guarantee its capturability. Finally, the analysis results are demonstrated by using numerical simulation examples.
