A periphery monitoring device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a reception unit which receives a first operation; and a display control unit which, in cases when the first operation is received, implements control in which a first field-of-view range indicating the range of the periphery of a vehicle is displayed on a display device, and the range displayed on the display device is displayed so as to transition in a first direction from the first field-of-view range to a second field-of-view range, and displayed so as to transition from the second field-of-view range, to the first field-of-view range, in a direction different to the first direction.
Un dispositif de surveillance de périphérie selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comprend : une unité de réception qui reçoit une première opération ; et une unité de commande d'affichage qui, dans les cas où la première opération est reçue, exécute une commande dans laquelle une première plage de champ de vision indiquant la plage de la périphérie d'un véhicule s'affiche sur un dispositif d'affichage, et la plage affichée sur le dispositif d'affichage s'affiche de sorte à passer d'une première direction, de la première plage de champ de vision à une seconde plage de champ de vision, et s'affiche de sorte à passer de la première plage de champ de vision à la seconde plage de champ de vision dans une direction différente de la première direction.
