    A composition for an expandable sealant including at least one polymeric material preferably selected from the group consisting of low density polyethylenes (LDPE), linear low density polyethylenes (LLPDE), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), ethylene methacrylate (EMA), and ethylene -butyl acrylate (EnBA); and a chemical blowing agent, wherein the composition is substantially free of a cross-linking agent.

    La présente invention concerne une composition pour un matériau d'étanchéité expansible comprenant au moins un matériau polymère, de préférence, choisi dans le groupe constitué de polyéthylènes basse densité (LDPE), de polyéthylènes linéaires de faible densité (LLDPE), d'éthylène-acétate de vinyle (EVA), de méthacrylate d'éthylène (EMA), et de d'éthylène-acrylate de butyle (En BA); et un agent d'expansion chimique, la composition étant sensiblement exempte d'un agent de réticulation.
