본 발명은 액화 가스 저장용 시설물에 관한 것으로서, 상기 액화 가스 저장용 시설물은 지탱 구조물(bearing structure)(1) 및 상기 지탱 구조물(1) 내에 배치된 시일 및 단열된 탱크를 포함하고, 상기 지탱 구조물(1)은 상측 지탱벽(3)으로부터 상기 탱크 외부를 향하여 수직으로 돌출되는 돔 구조물(dome structure)(19)을 포함하고, 상기 돔 구조물(19)은 상기 상측 지탱벽(3)으로부터 돌출되는 돔 벽(dome wall)(22)들을 포함하고, 상기 돔 벽(22)들 각각은 상측 단부를 포함하며, 상기 돔 구조물(19)은 주변 경계 영역(peripheral border region)(33)을 포함하고 수평으로 연속적으로 형성되는 안착벽(23)을 포함하고, 상기 돔 구조물(19)은 상기 통로를 덮는 커버(25)를 포함하고, 상기 커버(25)는 상기 안착벽(23)에 시일 방식(sealed manner)으로 용접되며, 상기 커버(25)는 적어도 하나의 중간 판(intermediate plate)(34)에 용접되고, 상기 중간 판(34)은 주변 경계 영역(33)에서 상기 안착벽(23)에 용접된다.
