The present invention relates to a thermal management system for a vehicle and a control method thereof. The disclosed thermal management system for the vehicle may comprise: an air conditioning subsystem including a refrigerant loop through which a refrigerant circulates; a battery cooling subsystem including a battery cooling water loop and a battery radiator through which a battery-side cooling water circulates to cool a battery; a powertrain cooling subsystem including a powertrain cooling water loop and a powertrain radiator through which a powertrain cooling water circulates to cool a powertrain component; and an air guide housing configured to guide an outside air toward the battery radiator and the powertrain radiator. The battery radiator and the powertrain radiator may be arranged in a line along the height direction of the vehicle in a cavity of the air guide housing. An objective of the present invention is to provide the thermal management system for the vehicle, capable of precisely managing performance for each condition, and the control method thereof.
