Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system and method for a ship. According to the present invention, the boil-off gas treatment system comprises: a vapor main line discharging boil-off gas generated in a storage tank in the ship from the storage tank; a reliquefaction unit receiving the boil-off gas from the vapor main line and compressing and cooling and reliquefying the boil-off gas; a return line returning the boil-off gas reliquefied in the reliquefaction unit to the storage tank; a first blocking valve placed on the return line; a recirculation line branched from the return line on the front end of the first blocking valve and connected to the vapor main line; and a second blocking valve placed on the recirculation line. The boil-off gas treatment system and the method for the ship are able to recirculate the boil-off gas passing through the reliquefaction unit to the vapor main line through the recirculation line when initially operating the reliquefaction unit. The present invention aims to provide a boil-off gas treatment system and method for a ship, which are capable of reducing the cost and realizing a compact system.
선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은, 선박의 저장탱크에서 발생하는 증발가스를 상기 저장탱크로부터 배출시키는 베이퍼메인라인; 상기 베이퍼메인라인으로부터 상기 증발가스를 공급받아 압축 및 냉각하여 재액화시키는 재액화부; 상기 재액화부에서 재액화된 증발가스를 상기 저장탱크로 회수하는 리턴라인; 상기 리턴라인에 마련되는 제1 차단밸브; 상기 제1 차단밸브의 전단에서 상기 리턴라인으로부터 분기되어 상기 베이퍼메인라인으로 연결되는 재순환라인; 및 상기 재순환라인에 마련되는 제2 차단밸브:를 포함하고, 상기 재액화부의 초기 가동 시 상기 재액화부를 거친 증발가스를 상기 상기 재순환라인을 통해 상기 베이퍼메인라인으로 재순환시킬 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
