Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system for a vessel and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the boil-off gas treatment system, in regard to a vessel having a main engine and a power generation engine receiving fuel of pressure lower than the main engine, includes: a compressor receiving boil-off gas produced from a storage tank provided in the vessel and storing liquefied gas, to compress the same as fuel supply pressure for the main engine; a precooler receiving all or some of the compressed gas from the compressor to cool the same through a heat exchange with a refrigerant; a heat exchanger receiving the compressed gas cooled by the precooler to make the same exchange heat with non-compressed boil-off gas to be supplied to the compressor; an expansion means receiving and decompressing the cooled compressed gas from the heat exchanger; and a refrigerant heat exchanger receiving the non-compressed boiloff gas, which has exchanged heat with the compressed gas, from the heat exchanger, thereby making the same exchange heat with the refrigerant to be supplied to the precooler. Some of the compressed gas decompressed by the expansion means can be supplied to the power generation engine via the heat exchanger.

선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은, 주엔진과 상기 주엔진보다 저압연료를 공급받는 발전엔진이 마련된 선박에서, 상기 선박에 마련되며 액화가스가 저장된 저장탱크로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 공급받아 상기 주엔진의 연료공급압력으로 압축하는 압축기; 상기 압축기로부터 압축된 압축가스의 전부 또는 일부를 공급받아 냉매와의 열교환으로 냉각시키는 예냉기; 상기 예냉기에서 냉각된 상기 압축가스를 공급받아 상기 압축기로 공급될 미압축 증발가스와 열교환시키는 열교환기; 상기 열교환기로부터 냉각된 상기 압축가스를 공급받아 감압하는 팽창수단; 및 상기 열교환기로부터 상기 압축가스와 열교환된 상기 미압축 증발가스를 공급받아, 상기 예냉기로 공급될 상기 냉매와 열교환시키는 냉매 열교환기;를 포함하며, 상기 팽창수단에서 감압된 상기 압축가스 중 일부는 상기 열교환기를 거쳐 상기 발전엔진으로 공급될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
